About Zion National Park

Zion National Park is Utah’s first national park. It is one of the most visited parks in the US. The minute you enter the park, you instantly know why. With a stunning red rock landscape, the scenery is remarkable. Zion consists of desert, riverbank, pinyon-juniper, and conifer woodland ecosystems, giving it a diverse and unique landscape. In the park, you’ll be able to find high plateaus, canyons, the Virgin River, arch formations, over 1,000 species of plants, and so much more.

Zion National Park actually has one of the largest freestanding arches in the world. Known as Kolob Arch, this arch is the second biggest in the world. The largest is Landscape Arch in Arches National Park, also located in Utah.
